OV-10 Bronco which was used for "FAC" (Forward Air
Controller) missions. The FAC was the aircraft in control of strike missions. The FAC marked the targets with smoke and then corrdinated the strike aircraft as to
munitions placement. If I remember correctly these a/c belonged to "19th TASS" Bien Hoa AB RVN 6/69-12/70 (WWF) |
